Acts 3:19(NIV) Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.

2 Corinthians 7:10 (NLT) For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There's no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.

Staying refreshed.
1. Connect with Jesus daily Acts 3:20(NLT) ...Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord
2. Ask for a new song Psalm 40:3 (NIV) He put a new song in my mouth... Ephesians 5:19–20 (NIV) 19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
3. Refuse to be self-centered Proverbs 11:25 (NLT) The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
4. Practice Repentance 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV) We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
5. Embrace the newness of life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
Isaiah 43:18–19 (NIV) 18 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
